Stack of premium layered business cards in deep navy and warm cream on dark slate

Your cards, designed, pressed, and finished in one Lakeland building.

Business card printing covers more than putting ink on cardstock: stock weight, full-color presswork, and finishes like foil and spot UV decide how the card lands. MPA manages every step from design desk to delivered box, and has since 1989.

Printed in-house on Xerox Iridesse and Versant

Your cards run on our own digital presses. Color, registration, and the final cut stay under one team's control from proof to pickup.

Design to delivery, one team

Need design help? Our in-house designer builds the card to print spec before anything runs. Approve the proof and it moves straight to press, with 24-hour rush available when the deadline is real.

Credentials your clients recognize

MPA is a Veteran-Owned Small Business, SOC 2 Type 2 certified, and HIPAA-compliant, with 100+ 5-star Google reviews. Those controls cover every job we run, including the small ones.

Start with the right stock.

Card weight is the first impression before anyone reads a word. Two house cardstocks cover most orders; specialty sheets are available on request.

14pt cardstock

The professional standard: crisp full color on both sides, with enough body to feel deliberate.

Best for: everyday networking, whole-team orders, and high-volume handouts.

16pt cardstock

Noticeably thicker in hand: the natural base for premium business cards and the finishes that define them.

Best for: client-facing roles, premium brands, finish-heavy designs.

Premium & specialty stocks

Heavier weights and textured and specialty stocks are available on request. Tell us the feel you want and we'll match a sheet to it.

Best for: flagship cards where the stock itself is the statement.

Premium Finishes

Where premium and luxury cards earn the name.

A finish is physical: shine, relief, and texture that no screen can preview. These five turn a contact card into something people keep.

Gold foil mark pressed into textured cream card stock, lit to show the metallic shine

Metallic digital foil

Gold, silver, copper, and white foil, fused digitally with no plate setup. That makes foil practical on short runs and even variable-data cards, so every name on the team can shine.

Pick it when the brand should look established the moment the card changes hands.

Raised spot UV hexagon pattern catching the light on a matte navy business card

Spot UV & raised spot UV

A clear high-gloss coat applied only where you want it: a logo, a name, a pattern. Standard spot UV sits flush, raised spot UV adds relief you can feel, and full-bleed UV coats the entire face.

Spot UV business cards pair matte stock with gloss exactly where it matters.

Soft-touch coating

A velvety matte coating that feels closer to suede than paper. Glare disappears and the card reads as understated and expensive.

Thermography

Raised print business cards, the traditional way: resinous powder fuses over the wet ink and the type sits up off the card. Texture with restraint.

Foil stamping, emboss & die cuts

Traditional foil stamping presses metallic foil into the stock with a heated die. Add an emboss or a die-cut shape when the card itself is the statement.

Business card questions, answered.

A premium business card differs from a standard one in stock and finish: thicker cardstock plus treatments like metallic foil, spot UV, raised print, or soft-touch coating. The card communicates before anyone reads it. Standard cards inform; premium cards get kept, and the difference is physical, not graphic.
A print-ready PDF with 0.125 inch of bleed on all sides is the standard for business cards. Keep text at least 0.125 inch inside the trim line. If your file is not set up that way, send it anyway; we check every file before it runs.
Yes. MPA has in-house design services: send your logo, contact details, and any reference cards you like, and our designer builds the card to print spec, bleed and all. You approve a proof before production, and design is quoted separately so you only pay for what you use.
Production time depends on quantity and finishes: a standard full-color run moves faster than one with foil or raised print, because each finish adds a pass. We confirm the schedule with your quote, and 24-hour rush is available when the date is firm.
Yes. Bulk business cards price down with quantity, and a corporate order with many names runs as one job, each card carrying its own name, title, and number. When the roster changes, send the new names and we'll handle the rest.
Spot UV is a clear gloss coating that contrasts against a matte card; it catches light but stays the color of whatever sits beneath it. Foil is metallic: gold, silver, copper, or white, fused onto the surface. Use spot UV for subtle texture and foil for unmistakable shine.
Thickness is the first thing a hand notices. A thicker card resists bending, carries finishes like spot UV and foil more convincingly, and signals that the business behind it pays attention to detail. We stock 14pt and 16pt as standards, with heavier and specialty stocks available on request.
